Gone Home, one of Zoey's most favorite gaming experiences ever. The main character focus of the story resonates with her so much and a deep, personal connect. Gone Home is a first-person interactive story developed and published by The Fullbright Company.

It's an interactive story, nothing more, no action, no puzzles, no horror, some actually think it has a feminist agenda attached to it.Gaming has it's own way of telling stories that is wholly unique. This could NOT have been done in a book, or movie, or anything. I play plenty of games with action, puzzles, platforming, etc etc all the damn time. What's wrong with playing through a short story once in awhile and getting to experience some emotions. You saying 'If you actually enjoy playing video games.'
Really gets under my skin. Games can be a lot more then you think they can be, obviously. Originally posted by:That's the rub, it's only good if you enjoy reading books.

Really gets under my skin. Games can be a lot more then you think they can be, obviously.Yes they can be a lot more and I've purchased a lot more for a lot less. There's games out there with awesome stories for the same price or less and offer more than just the story. It could have been done in a book, have you ever read the adventure series of books when you were younger?
I don't know if they still make those or not but they were highly entertaining. Originally posted by:It's advertised as an adventure game. The adventure is exploring a house that neither you nor the character youve played have ever been in, finding clues and insight into the lives and pasts of the people that live there, and ultimately, where they are now.
The adventure is piecing together the bits of information you find and thinking up your own theories as to what's going on before another 'puzzle piece' comes into play, making the story that much clearer, and then enabling you to theorize some more.Would it have been more of an 'adventure' for you if it took place in a castle + dungeon rather than a house?' Submitted on Review title of TheDiZZiWolfTotally pointlessFrom the first 3 seconds I was like Oh her little sister ran away from home. And I was right. Thats the whole story.
I thought maybe there was some deeper haunted house thing going on but nope, mom and dad are off on a camping trip and little sis ran away with her girlfriend bc shes full of teenage angst and thinks shes in love. If you watched the trailer then you pretty much know the whole story.
Total waste of time. And really, little sis had no reason to run off.
It sounds like her classmates didnt really care that she was gay, and her parents were at WORST a little awkward about it but didnt really mind. But on the bright side I give this a 10 out of 10 as an interactive lightswitch flipping simulation. Submitted on 7/23/2018 Review title of CaptainHiTop13I'D RATHER WATCH FUNGUS GROW.The game is so bad, it's caused me to submit my first review.ever. I shudder to say SPOILERS ahead because. #1) it comes across as creepy.as if something's going to scare you.never happens.which leads me to #2) NOTHING HAPPENS!!!
You eventually find out what HAD happend while you were away but so what? Your teenage sister is in love.w/a girl. Wow, so ground-breaking. Granted, the story takes place in the early '90s.things were different when it came to same-. relationships @ that time.but, the game doesn't build on that either 3) NO CLOSURE! Why does the house appear ransacked? What was the deal w/the pentagram, your uncle's picture, the Ouija board & the shadow?
What about your parents? They schedule a couples-counseling retreat @ THE SAME TIME as their daughter coming home after being away for awhile?! Bull.t.nobody would do that. This game is deceitful, self-loving, boring & pointless.sorting socks would be more enjoyable ??.
